Today, with colleagues from our task force dedicated to blockchains, we did our first test of writing smart contract for the Ethereum environment.

We are learning and trying to ask ourselves about blockchain usage scenarios: Smart City and industrial supply chains ... re-using the know-how we already have in terms of interoperability, standards and networks of fashion SMEs.

I thank the people of Quadrans and Foodchain for their precious experience, also thanks to them we understood a little more how much nonsense is said on the subject and how long and demanding the road is.

From today we start to think about how eBIZ and all the experience on standards and related transactional documents can bring an advantage to those who develop blockchain applications in the supply chain.

Tomorrow we participate in a work group on the feasibility of a blockchain application for the traceability of Made in Italy wanted by the ministry (MISE) and conducted by IBM.
